According to Pacquiao, God allows the death penalty in the bible and if someone is opposing the death penalty means that he is trying to be greater than God.

Pacquiao said that he read the bible and the constitution many times and he also said that he is opposing death penalty before, but because of studying the word of God carefully, he now realise that the bible allows every nation to punish wrong-doers.

He also said that Death Penalty was allowed by God to discipline the people.

Pacquiao’s bill to reimpose Death Penalty is only for drug traffickers, drug lords and protectors, but he didn’t include the other heinous crimes like rape and murder.
