Ayon sa report ng Gma News, suportado raw ng TV host-actress na si Kris Aquino ang administrasyon ni President-elect Rodrigo Duterte, na manunumpa na bilang bagong Pangulo ng Pilipinas sa Huwebes, June 30.

Kahit si Mar Roxas ang ipinangampanya nito noong eleksyon, ipinagdarasal raw ni Kris ang tagumpay ng administrasyon ni Duterte, at hinihikayat niya ang lahat na suportahan rin ito.
"I'm praying for them... Kailangan ipagdadasal mo kung sinoman ang leader ng bansa. I pray for President Duterte, I pray that our country will continue to prosper economically," ayon kay Kris, na kapatid ni outgoing president Benigno Aquino III.

Dagdag pa niya, "In the same way na maraming nagdasal for Noy, I'll do my share also this time. Siyempre, stakeholder rin ako sa bansang ito at may mga anak ako at gusto ko rin ang makabubuti para sa kanila."
