A day after President-choose Rodrigo Duterte made the offer, ABS-CBN Foundation official and against mining advocate Gina Lopez on Tuesday (June 21) acknowledged the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) post.

A Philippine Daily Inquirer report affirmed Lopez tolerating President-choose Duterte's offer for her to be a piece of the Cabinet.
"After much thoughtfulness, I chose to acknowledge it (DENR post). We should see what happens," she was cited as saying.
Lopez, a vocal supporter of Duterte, met with approaching president yesterday (June 20) at the Presidential Guest House, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Panacan Depot in Davao City.

Regarded by the welcome, Lopez prior said she would genuinely consider the offer. "I am respected with the trust given. I will genuinely, truly think of it as," she said.
Lopez is the executive of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation. She is additionally the seat of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC).
