In light of the new administration to fight dr*gs, the Department of Education (DepEd) is searching for possibilities of conducting regular dr*g tests on both public and private high school students..
The program would need more funds in accordance to what DepEd Assistant Secretary Jesus Mateo told to GMA's news show "24 Oras" on Friday.
For now, DepEd was only limited to random dr*g tests in schools.
Mateo also said they are making ways to improve the curriculum on the dangers of drug use incidents of which were frequent among some students on Grade 7 onwards.

Mateo also pointed out that fighting dr*gs was every individual's responsibility, and should not be left to teachers and police officers alone.
